Nintendo DS Original

This was the first DS console that Nintendo released, it is larger than the DS Lite and the screens are not as bright. Repairs to this console are less common now due to the age of the console but this also means cheap parts can be found for your repairs!

Nintendo DS Lite Repair

The DS Lite is the second console in the Nintendo DS series, it has slightly larger screens than the older DS Original. It doesn't have a camera or an internet browser and repairs to this console are the most common due to fault with the hinge on the right hand side.

Nintendo DSi Repair

The Nintendo DSi is again slightly larger than the DS Lite and has a camera and internet browser. There is no embossed logo on the top of the DSi which should help you distinguish it from the older models.

Nintendo DSi XL Repair

The DSi XL is by far the largest of the DS Series to be released, aimed at the older generation as it is easier to see the screens. It has a camera and internet browser and is easily identifiable by its size. Replacement screens on this console can be costly!

Nintendo 3DS Repair

The Nintendo 3DS is the latest in the DS Series and is capable of displaying 3D images without the need for special glasses. You will know if you have a 3DS!
